Arts of Ecology Residency

In 2021 LIOS labs organised two rounds of Arts of Ecology residencies in Błędowska Desert, Poland, gathering 65 international agents. Each residency lasted ten days and was guided by principles of self-organisation and knowledge sharing.
In the desert sun, we cooked delicious food on an open fire, trained our bodies carrying water across the dunes, learned how to survive storms, dug holes, and be patient with each other. We danced and played, and woke up at sunrises to dialogue about silence.
